The IHS Development Office is committed to building relationships that last – formed to benefit the mission of the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary: the evangelization and education of young men and women. Our efforts are far reaching – beyond the walls of our school facilities and even beyond our school community. Our goal is to create and engage a network of partners including our alumni, local businesses, friends of Immaculate Heart Schools, foundations and philanthropic individuals; asking them to invest in the success of Immaculate Heart Schools – today and tomorrow.

Tuition alone cannot be relied upon to cover the costs of operating our school or expanding the schools horizons to meet the needs of our students, faculty and entire school community as we move into the future. Operating costs, capital investments, program enhancements, staff and faculty educational growth, extra-curricular program expansion, athletics, community outreach/marketing are all areas that benefit from the efforts of the Office of Institutional Advancement. Therefore one of the primary purposes of the Advancement Office is to develop a dynamic and effective outreach program that will increase the financial strength and growth potential of Immaculate Heart Schools.

We accomplish this by:

1) Developing and implementing an annual fund, capital campaign, programs for special projects, planned giving, endowments and events.

2) Holding three main fundraisers during the school year to support the full educational programs offered at Immaculate Heart Schools. These include: our annual Trucktoberfest, SPREE Gala and the Race for Education.

3) Participating in and supporting the Catholic Tuition Support Organization (CTSO) Tax Credits Program–A significant area of financial support for Immaculate Heart Schools; funds go directly to tuition assistance for families in need –while earning taxpayers a dollar-for-dollar tax credit.

4) Supporting various school fundraising efforts directed by the Home and School Association and the SCRIPT office

Gifts of products and services are always welcome and a wish list of items that the school needs is available in the Development Office.
